6 Bales Per Load
The Bale King 6200 has its roots on large Nebraska ranches with a history going back over 25 years. The design combines a robust 5200 style processing unit, a low profile conveyor deck, and a tandem torflex undercarriage. Whether you’re feeding large numbers or facing a long drive out to the pasture, the 6200 will help you get more done in less time.
Bale King processors help simplify your operation and work to get more out of your feed supply. Processed bales take less energy to digest while windrowing gives every cow equal access. Bale King processors are also the tool of choice for bedding straw. Owners report as much as 3X the coverage per bale compared to rolling straw out.
The standard 1000 RPM driveline with shearbolt protection powers a low maintenance gearbox. No belts or chains to maintain. The 80 degree constant velocity PTO shaft gives you extra maneuverability in tight quarters.
The bale rollers are direct drive by high torque hydraulic motors with flow and pressure protection.
The hoop grate adjustment lever provides easy adjustment for varying bale conditions.
The heart of every Bale King is the X-Rotor which provides notable benefits over pipe style rotors.
The 27″ diameter rotor at 7000 ft/min flail speed combined with 28 heavy flails on oil impregnated bushings provides exceptional aggression and durability.
The 6200 features an upgraded hoop grate to improve performance in a wider variety of conditions. The alternating long hoop / short hoop design improves throughput while controlling the flow through the rotor.
The bale rollers combine rows of wide paddles and short spikes to provide the traction required for a wide range of bale types. These rollers offer effective bale manipulation, low maintenance, and are unaffected by snow and ice freezing in the tub.
Twine guards on the both ends of the rotor and bale rollers keep twine and net out of your bearings
The loading fork transfers the bale from the bale deck to the processing unit. The dedicated fork ensures that all 6 bales are placed in the proper orientation, twines down, in the center of the processing unit.
To load the machine, back under the first 5 bales, flip the front bale into the tub with the fork, and then back under the 6th bale. The whole process takes about 1 minute.
Self-loading, cleated 2082 roller chain grabs hard into straw to load bales. The chain rails are canted inward for a positive grip on various bale sizes and secure transport on the road.
Dual chain drive motors provide the torque required for loading and provide flexibility to reverse for unloading purposes your operation requires.
The idler sprockets employ tapered relief grooves which minimize mud built-up. This feature helps maintain optimal chain tension to reduce maintenance.
Wide, low profile skid shoes get the chains underneath the bale without digging the sprockets into the ground
Tandem, 8000lb Torflex axles support the load and provide a smooth ride over rough ground. These axles are extremely low maintenance compared to a walking axle design. There are no pivots to grease or bushings to wear out.
Four large 14Lx16.1 tires provide excellent flotation is soft terrain. It’s built to glide over mud, snow, or delicate meadows.
Twine guards mounted on each spindle keep your wheel bearings running clean.
Switch between windrowing / bunk feed to long range bedding without leaving the cab. The standard hydraulic deflector also lets you fold up to fit through narrow gates. Flip up the rubber curtain for precise aim in bedding applications.
Curved upper shields redirect loose flakes of bale back into the tub while processing
The 6200’s tapered hitch allows tighter turns than possible with a straight hitch. Three clevis positions match your tractor’s hitch height to keep the unit nice and level.
Only 3 hydraulic remotes are needed for full control of the 6200 when used with the provided control box.
