Easy Feeding – 3 Bale Capability

Customers who depend on Bale King machinery know what they want. Some prefer the simplicity of the roller style processor while others prefer the easy-feeding chain style. With the introduction of the 5300 3 Bale processor, we received more customer requests for a chain style processor with 3 bale capacity. Now, we are proud to introduce the new Bale King 7400 Chain style bale processor.

The 7400 is built with typical bale King ruggedness. It is built heavy in every respect including a twin tube main frame, gearbox drive, X-rotor, heavy chains and slats, and flotation tires. The chain and slat design provides exceptional grip for turning the bale which results in simple operation, consistent feeding, and fast throughput. And of course, the X-rotor combined with the wide rotor access door makes twine removal a breeze.

Also new on the 7400 is our second generation 3 bale kit (optional). This new system combines all the advantages of the original in a simpler design. In the machinery business, simplicity = reliability.

Bale King processors help simplify your operation and work to get more out of your feed supply. Processed bales take less energy to digest while windrowing gives every cow equal access. Bale King processors are also the tool of choice for bedding straw. Owners report as much as 3X the coverage per bale compared to rolling straw out.

Standard Features

The X-Rotor is powered by a robust, 1000 rpm driveline.

An 80 degree Cat.6 constant velocity PTO shaft with shear bolt protection gives extra maneuverability in tight quarters.

Twin bevel gearboxes transfer power to the rotor. No belts or chains to maintain!

The 7400’s chain and slat feeding system provides positive grip for smooth bale rotation. The triple 2080 chain conveyor is direct-driven by a strong hydraulic motor. Solid drive shafts keep all sprockets in line for consistent chain tension.

Aggressive, full length slats sweep the entire tub floor for complete coverage and cleanout. The wide conveyor deck will accommodate 6ft diameter bales with room to spare.

1/2″ thick UHMW wear strips provide long wear and quick replacement. For simple maintenance, the chain tighteners are out in the open and easily accessible. A hinged cleanout door allows quick removal of debris in the conveyor track.

The heart of every Bale King is the X-Rotor which provides notable benefits over pipe style rotors.

It’s fan shaped profile moves more air to increase straw spreading distance.
The X creates a cavity beneath the twine/net to simplify twine removal with a utility knife. The rotor access door provides perfect access for twine removal.
The X allows more flail travel which results in less backslap, less metal fatigue, and a quieter overall experience.

28 heavy flails on oil impregnated bushings at 7000 fpm tip speed provide exceptional aggression and durability.

The standard hydraulic main deflector lets you switch from windrowing to bunk feeding to bedding with the push of a lever. Raise the deflector to slide through narrow gates.

The heavyweight rubber flap directs processed hay into a neat windrow or bunk. For precise placement in bedding applications, flip the rubber up and use the hydraulics to aim the straw exactly where you want it. The 7400 can spread an even bedding mat up to 50 feet wide!

The smooth deflector profile is designed to dump chaff accumulation every time the deflector is raised.

The 4 position bottom deflector gives extra control. The lower positions are suitable for bedding calf sheds. The higher positions work well for long range bedding, bunk feeding, or windrowing.

The short deflector panel and large discharge opening offer minimal restriction for high-moisture feed.

All adjustments for both deflectors and the hoop guard rods are on the left side of the machine for convenient access from the tractor.

The Fork Tines can be adjusted to accommodate various bale sizes. The pointed tines are more forgiving of misalignment or uneven ground when backing into a bale to load it. Check valves lock the fork in the upper position for additional security while servicing.

Standard 16.5Lx16.1 tires on 8-bolt hubs handle the load while providing a smoother ride in rough ground and more flotation in muddy conditions.

Twine guards protect all rotating parts including the wheel hubs, rotor, and conveyor drive shafts.
